A public witness of rebuilding
Survival was never meant to be the final product.
Still she walks. That is the whole sermon.
Still She Walks is the documented rebuild of a woman who refused to let survival become the final product. The work turns lived experience into truthful witness, disciplined systems, practical tools, faith rooted formation, and community action. Nothing here is pain performed for attention. It is rebuilding made visible so other women can recognize that the next honest step still counts.
The mission
Meeting women where they stand.
Still She Walks meets women where they stand and helps them walk forward with dignity, truth, practical tools, community, faith aware support, nervous system conscious recovery practices, and one honest next step at a time.
We do not ask women to become different before they deserve structure. We build structure where they are.
Grounded Phoenix LLC
The operating company. It carries the systems, the documentation discipline, and the commercial infrastructure that sustain the mission.
Still She Walks
The public witness and formation work. A project and public identity, not a separate legal entity, not a nonprofit, and not a charity.
W.I.N.G.
Women In Natural Healing. A developing community vision whose governance and legal structure are still being built.
The ground under the work
Faith is not only spoken. It is walked.
Faith in this mission is not decoration and it is not performance. It shows up the way it showed up in the wilderness: in what a woman does next.
Here, faith looks like truth. Responsibility. Service. Dignity. Restoration. Surrender. Action. The courage to continue walking.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”Isaiah 43:19, KJV
Faith here is offered, never forced. Women do not have to share this theology to be treated with dignity, and faith is never used as a gate, a test, or a substitute for appropriate professional care.
Why Still She Walks exists
The access gap is rarely a lack of effort.
A woman in disruption is often expected to carry many weights at once:
- family strain
- recovery
- grief
- financial pressure
- systems
- paperwork
- health needs
- housing instability
- faith questions
- public judgment
The point is not that women are helpless. They are not. The point is that even strong capacity can become overwhelmed when steady structure, understandable information, safe community, practical access, and navigation support are missing. The access gap is rarely a lack of intelligence or effort. It is usually a lack of structure, and structure can be built.
Structure is a form of care.
Steady, repeatable support beats crisis theater. Progress is measured through honest action, not performance.
Truth without villains.
Truth can be told without turning people into villains. Dignity and personal agency are protected at every step.
Faith that strengthens responsibility.
Faith should strengthen responsibility, not excuse harm or shame struggle.
Pain is data, not identity.
Healing requires growth, but healing remains the goal. What hurt a woman can inform her walk without becoming her name.
The Still She Walks Wilderness Journey
Forty days in the wilderness. Not as a metaphor.
The material was lived before it was written.
Still She Walks includes a faith rooted, non clinical 40 day formation and reflection journey for women. It was not assembled from theory. It follows the shape of a real wilderness, walked one honest day at a time, from ashes toward emergence.
Each day of the journey contains:
- a theme
- Scripture
- reflection
- honest examination
- practical action
- one next step
Founding edition in preparation
The Anchor Manuscript
The depth resource. Each day is examined through Scripture, psychology in plain terms, and the social realities women actually live inside, grounded in the founder’s documented walk.
Founding edition in preparation
The Participant Guide
The how resource. It shows a woman how to work each day honestly: what to notice, what to name, and how to keep the work small, concrete, and real.
Founding edition in preparation
The 40 Day Workbook
The pages resource. The daily writing structure where each woman records her own journey, in her own hand, one day at a time.
The journey is educational and spiritual formation. It is not therapy, treatment, crisis care, or a substitute for licensed services.
Week one · Into the ashes
The first seven days of the walk.
Week One is shown here so the depth of the work can be seen plainly. The journey is a structured body of work, not a slogan. Each day carries its own theme, Scripture anchors, and one honest next step.

Why now
The work happened privately first.
For a long time, this work was not public. There was no audience and no platform. There was a woman rebuilding a life, one honest day at a time, and writing it down as she went.
She was not building a brand. She was building a life that could hold weight.
At some point the structure that carried her became useful enough, and tested enough, to share responsibly. That is the only reason this website exists.
This is not a rebrand. This is a reveal.
The founder
She walked it before she wrote it.
Heather Jones
Heather Jones is the founder of Still She Walks and the principal and owner of Grounded Phoenix LLC. She is a mother, a business owner, an organizational systems builder, a community advocate, and a former Stanwood City Council member. She is also a Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner and developing athlete. Survivor is an identity she has chosen within her own story, not a label placed on her.
Her work carries two kinds of authority at once. The first is lived: the wilderness in these pages was walked in real time, in real conditions, before any of it was written for others. The second is built: through Grounded Phoenix she develops organizational frameworks, governance materials, evidence control systems, documentation standards, nonprofit readiness materials, and public communication packages designed for professional review and real world use.
Brazilian jiu jitsu has become part of that lived rebuilding, not simply as physical training, but as a place where discipline, humility, pressure, boundaries, nervous system regulation, trust, endurance, and the willingness to begin again are practiced in the body. Her training at Kingdom Warriors has become part of the real world formation underneath Still She Walks. The woman building this work is not only writing about resilience. She is learning, repeatedly, what it means to stay present under pressure, protect herself without losing herself, submit when necessary, recover position, and keep moving.
Her work does not ask audiences to rescue her. It invites people to witness the rebuild, use what is useful, and help create practical impact.
Witness. Rebuilder. Mother under pressure. Woman rebuilding through structure.
Core areas of work
Current work and developing vision, clearly labeled.
Every initiative below carries its accurate status. Current work is current. Developing work is developing. Nothing here is inflated to look bigger than it is.
Still She Walks Wilderness Journey
The faith rooted, non clinical 40 day formation and reflection journey described above, built around the Anchor Manuscript, the Participant Guide, and the 40 Day Workbook. The program focuses on truth telling, stabilization, boundaries, responsibility, reflection, prayer, practical action, and forward movement.
Educational and spiritual. Not therapy, treatment, crisis care, or a substitute for licensed services.
Women’s Group Facilitation Model
A structured group format using a covenant of honesty, privacy, non comparison, voluntary disclosure, dignity, personal responsibility, and one concrete next step. Facilitators hold structure and refer appropriately. They do not diagnose, promise healing, or become the center of gravity.
Public Witness and Rebuild Education
A public content and speaking stream organized around four pillars: The Rebuild, The Systems, The Body, and The Philosophy. The Body documents embodied rebuilding through strength, movement, Brazilian jiu jitsu, disciplined training, recovery, nervous system awareness, and learning what the body can teach when pressure is practiced safely instead of merely survived. Across all four pillars, content documents routines, lessons, tools, structure, faith, and forward motion without exposing children or unresolved private matters.

Support access
Help build practical structure for the next woman.
Some people do not need services and do not need a stage. They simply want the next woman to have what they wish someone had built for them. Support can fund materials, sponsor access to the Wilderness Journey, and help build the practical structure this work runs on.
Plain honesty about money: support received through Grounded Phoenix LLC is support for a mission carried by a business. It is not a charitable donation, and it is not tax deductible. If that ever changes through a properly formed and verified entity, this page will say so plainly. Until then, no one will be misled here.
How to participate
Bring what you have. Help build the next honest step.
There is a place here for women walking their own rebuild, for partners, for organizations, for supporters, and for clients. Paid work and mission participation are both welcome, and they are labeled so no one has to guess which is which.

W.I.N.G. · Women In Natural Healing
W.I.N.G. is the developing community vision: a women centered initiative focused on access, dignity, practical support, healing centered education, and community connection. It is being built the same way everything else here was built. Structure first. Claims later.
Status, stated plainly: W.I.N.G. is in development. It is not tax exempt, not licensed, not grant funded, not fully operational, and not accepting tax deductible gifts. When its governance and legal structure are complete and verified, its status will be updated here.
Faith, privacy, and dignity
The audience is never asked to rescue anyone.
The mission is faith rooted and open handed. Women are not shamed for struggling, and spiritual language is never used as a substitute for appropriate professional care.
This work holds firm boundaries: no revenge storytelling, no exposure of children or unresolved private matters, no invented outcomes, testimonials, partnerships, credentials, or impact numbers, and no guarantees of healing, recovery, housing, legal outcomes, or funding. Public language stays separate from private strategy. The standard is simple: preserve dignity, tell the truth plainly, build the structure, and take the next honest step.
Is this documenting rebuilding, or performing pain? If it performs pain, revise it. If it documents rebuilding, strengthen it.
A plain word about scope: this work provides community support, education, advocacy, organizational tools, and faith rooted formation. It does not replace medical care, legal counsel, mental health care, crisis services, tax professionals, accounting professionals, or emergency services. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency or crisis services first.
